GRAPH AN IMPLICITLY DEFINED FUNCTION

To graph a function defined implicitly, you must enter the left side and right side of the function equation separately. To graph a different function, just edit the Leftside and Rightside expressions by highlighting the expressions and typing over them. If a new graph does not automatically appear, try clicking the mouse cursor anywhere in the graphing window.

If the graph appears too rough, click on third icon on the right hand side of the graph to increase the number of points plotted. This will take longer and depend on the memory and speed of your computer.

To zoom on a portion of the graph, first click on the top button on the right side of the graphing window called the Knife. Then use the mouse to box-off the portion of the graph to zoom-in on.

To change the graphing window boundaries, edit the values: Left, Right, Top, Bottom.

To reset the original values, or if an error occurs, just reload the file.
